Wedding & Function Band For Hire

We are a 4-piece function band with the following line-up:

Yes, we provide playlists before, between and after sets until midnight as standard. We use a fixed playlist, but if you have particular songs in mind, you're also welcome to create and share your own Spotify playlist, which we can play through our PA system.

Yes, we offer the following live music options:

1 hour acoustic duo set featuring vocals/guitar and keys/vocals.

2 x 45 minute set solo piano sets during dinner

We can also offer wedding ceremony music featuring piano or a combination of the members. Please let us know if this is something you're interested in when making your enquiry.

We usually arrive and set up from 6pm onwards. For weddings, this means we're ready to set up as soon as the wedding breakfast and speeches are finished. With corporate events and parties, we will always set up and sound check before guests arrive. If you require the band to set up earlier in the day, there is an additional hourly fee for every hour before 6pm.

We take 1 hour to set up and sound check. Lifts or stairs may increase load in time.

Our standard set times are 2 x 45 minutes which we find is the perfect amount of time to have a band playing. If you need longer sets, we do offer 3 x 40 minute sets or 2 x 60 minute sets for an extra fee.

We request intervals of at least 15 minutes but this can be longer to suit your requirements on the day

This is completely up to you and your schedule on the day. We find it's often best to start the band at around 9pm but this is purely a guide. We also find it's best to serve the buffet during the band breaks or before the band begin.

We request that the band is provided with soft drinks throughout our stay at the venue. We also request food for 4 members of the band. This doesn't have to be the same as your guest's meal, just something before we play to keep energy levels up. We usually leave in the afternoon and arrive home in the early hours, so hot food is always highly appreciated.

We do understand that it's nice to watch the band live before you book, but unfortunately, the mesh band don't play any public gigs at all. Hopefully, the reviews and testimonials will give you peace of mind that we are completely professional, experienced in every type of event and very accommodating.

Yes, we are completely self-contained, so you don't need to worry about a thing. We use a top-class Electro-Voice 4k PA system with access to larger systems for events over 500 people. Our lighting rig is a 4-meter-wide raised truss with light-to-sound scanners and stage lighting.

No, a stage is always a great addition to a performance, but it is not a requirement.

We are very accommodating regarding space and can fit into just about any room or marquee. For weddings and events in larger rooms, we request 5 meters in width and 3 meters in depth.

We require at least 2 independent 13 amp sockets. If your marquee company has requested details, please advise that our PA system and lighting use approximately 5kw, and a single 16amp power supply is insufficient.

Yes, if the venue requires a certificate, please contact us, and we'll forward you a copy.

If you've received a quote and would like to go ahead with the booking, we'll need your full address and contact details along with the venue address. We'll then email over a contract with full terms and conditions included. This will then need to be signed and returned to confirm the booking. A deposit of approximately 20% will also be required, payable by bank transfer. An invoice with payment details will be included with the contract.

No, we do not currently charge VAT
